Great philly

Foods not bad. Service wasnt the best

I didn’t know they had two locations, I pre ordered at the wrong location. Because of my lunch schedule I was unable to go to the other location. I was told by the OWNER that she wasn’t taking the loss on my food. She told me she wouldn’t serve me, and that I need to go get my food. I apologized and told her I couldn’t, she told me I need to find somewhere else to eat. She took the loss on my food.

Pretty good food! Well made Italian sandwich and basic dishes from some authentic native Philadelphians. The cheesesteaks are the best you can get around here, and meatball subs are great. The folks that work here are also very nice. Judging the food alone, this place is 5 stars. I had to take a star off for the dine-in experience though. I'm a soda maniac, and they don't have fountain drinks (bottles only). Some might find that ridiculous, but it's an integral part of my dinning experience. What can I say? I'm a thirsty dude.

Went for the first time today. This is what an Italian sandwich should be. I got the grindr, which is a hot sandwich, and it was amazing. The meat, cheese, peppers, and other dressings was delicious. The waitress so awesome. Luckily, I can walk here from my place so I will certainly be back.

A really good Philly cheesesteak!!

The long wait was uncool, the pics alright, tasted as expected, I waited 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches beer outrageous on price, I just don't get it.

Best Sandwich shop ever! Great family run restaurant that I have been going to for 25 years. I love this place not just because of the great food and service, but for the pride this family put into their business. I have always had great food and treated like family when I go. Try the Philly Steak and also the Italian Grinder, my faves :)

Best Philly Cheesesteak this side of the Mississippi! The roll and the meat are just like back home. Ms. Linda and Mr. Chris are the best!

Really only 3 good Italian restaurants in town. This is 1 of them. 2 of those 3 are open for lunch, this is one of them! If you’re pressed for time call it in, they aren’t gonna slap some pre made stuff on a plate and nuke it in the microwave to serve to you. They know what they are doing. It’s always good. Prices are very reasonable when you consider the quality and quantity of the food. Everything is good! Fagetaboutit, just go eat there. 😎

All the sandwiches are spot on, but tried the Italian sausage dinner for the 1st time, it's great too

Was ok, maybe it was our choice of not picking a poboy but made other sandwich choices.One of us got a burger and I don't even remember what I picked other than I got onion rings that were really good,but at an extra cost since that sandwich didn't come with any side. Seemed a bit pricey for lunch for 2 ppl to total almost 30.00. We picked avg priced sandwiches.Not a budget lunch choice and not a place I would pick if I was feeding a family. Alexandria is a tough city to have a food audience in,lots if competition. Service was good. Just not something to write home about per say.

This is my family’s favorite sandwich shop in town. Linda is always friendly and the sandwiches are divine. I always place my order a few days in advance bc my kids all want strombolis- which they sell out of bc they are so good! Fresh baked Italian meats and cheeses... wow! My favorite is the Italian oven grinder. It’s hot, meaty, and just enough veggies to add perfect flavor and ease my conscience. My husband always gets the Philly cheesesteak. I’ve been to philly- these are authentic! I’ve been going here for over 20 years. It really is the best!

My family and I have went here for years and we always get excited because we love it so much!!!

The food is always excellent. The staff are friendly, and there is rarely a wait at lunch for a table. I'm partial to their BLTs and clubs, but all their sandwiches are good.

GREAT PHILLY!!!!

I had the Meatball Parmesan Sandwich. It was delicious. You can really tell they take pride in their restaurant. I really liked the atmosphere too. Enjoyed seeing all the old pictures along the walls. Can't wait to return!
